Asia Trends: Wire, Cable, Tube & Pipe
According to a new report released by Transparency Market Research, the global automotive wire and cable materials market will be boosted by the rapid growth of the automobile industry worldwide, following the increase in applications of in-vehicle wiring and government approvals for electric and hybrid cars. Owing to the growing demand for vehicles from countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, China, and India, the Asia Pacific region will account for the majority share in the global automotive wire and cable materials market.

Based on a report by Global Industry Analysts, Inc., the global market for Seamless Pipes and Tubes is projected to reach 65 million tons by 2022, driven by the sustained growth in demand for high-grade Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and industrial seamless pipes and tubes and improvement in infrastructure spending in developing countries. Asia-Pacific will represent the largest and fastest growing market worldwide led by rapid industrialisation, stable economic growth, and resurgence in automobile, industrial and construction markets and rising demand for energy.
